Journal Publications and Research Funding

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the organisation of a research seminar on Wednesday 28^th January 2026 from 13:00 till 15:30 at the University of Sunderland (United Kingdom) at Sir Tom Cowie Campus (Sir Tom Cowie Lecture Theatre, Prospect Building). Within the business and management domain, the seminar concerns the provision of suggestions for publishing in high quality journals, and advice for research project bidding.

The seminar includes two pillars:

1.      Publishing in high quality journals

2.      Project bidding and funding

Presenters:

·        Professor Nikolaos Pappas, Northumbria University (Publishing in high quality journals)

The research seminar is jointly organised by the Universities of Northumbria and Sunderland, and the research centres of rCETI (Research Centre for Emerging Technologies and Innovation, EPIC, and CERTE, whilst it is also powered by ATHENA (Association of Tourism, Hospitality and Events Networks in Academia). The event is in-person only, and the attendance is free.
