TREES joins ATHENA

We are happy to announce that today (19th March 2026) the TREES (Tourism Research in Economics, Environs and Society) has joined ATHENA. The research centre is affiliated with the North-West University, South Africa, and its Director (and from this point onwards also a member of the ATHENA Executive Board) is Professor Elmarie Slabbert. We would warmly like to welcome TREES to our association.
